It is the end of the year, which means it is the time to sum up the past 365 days and understand which teams and players performed at their best. HLTV.org has ranked the best players in CS:GO according to their individual rating, and the top spot, of course, was taken by NAVI's Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev!

According to HLTV.org, the three best players of this year were S1mple, ZywOo and sh1ro. Surprisingly, Niko is not in the top-3, as his rating is 1.20 and he hasn't won any MVPs, while sh1ro's is 1.22. Top 5 is closed down by Ax1le from Gambit. Ax1le and H0bbit share the same rating — 1.16. Dev1ce has taken the 10th position, with only 1.13 rating for his yearly stats.
