The next Intel Extreme Masters event will take place this year in Dallas, US. The tournament features 10 invited teams +6 teams from closed qualifiers. The list was presented on IEM's official website as well as their twitter:

The list includes the ESL Pro League participants: FURIA, Astralis, Heroic, NIP, FaZe Clan, Ence, NAVI, G2, Vitality and Gambit. The latter will play under the neutral tag Players. The other team that has been forced to stop using their original tag, Virtus.pro, however, is missing from the invites. There are also 6 Closed Qualifier slots. 2 of them will be for EU teams and 2 for NA. One teams will be eligible to participate from SA, and the is other from a different region. The tournament kicks off May 30, 2022 and will have a prize pool of $250,000. The event will conclude on June 6.
