Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van, Team Vitality’s rifler, has departed from the organization after being with them for almost two years. Vitality’s plans changed and the player stayed inactive ever since the Danish duo joined.
Joining them in Spring of 2021, he was to replace the Franch CS:GO legend Cedric "RpK" Guipouy. Kyojin demonstrated just a handful of smart plays, which was not enough for Vitality to take over NAVI and be the #1 team in the world. Later on, the club decided to go with the international roster, and that was the end for Kyojin's stay in the lineup. The last time he competed in a top-tier tournament was at Blast Premier World Finals.
Kyojin is now a part of Akimbo, a team that is made up of ex-LDLC esports athletes.
Team Vitality’s updated roster now has this lineup.
- Dan "apEX" Madesclaire;
- Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut;
- Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier;
- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen;
- Emil "Magisk" Reif;
- Danny "zonic" Sørensen (coach).
Akimbo team looks like this:
- Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss;
- Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus;
- Bryan "Maka" Canda;
- Jordan "Python" Munck-Foehrle;
- Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van;
- Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni (coach).
