Virtus.pro member becomes the MVP of IEM Winter Groups

Dzhami "Jame" Ali from Virtus.pro ended the group stage of IEM Winter 2021 with the highest rating of all the participants, beating both Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač that are known for their consistent numbers across most of the tournaments. Interestingly enough, there was not a single player from Team Vitality in the top-7 with only Dan "apEX" Madesclaire climbing up to 8th place on the list. 

VP truly showed up at IEM Winter 2021, beating ENCE, Gambit, and GODSENT to secure first place in the groups and earn themselves a place in the semifinals of the playoffs. Their next match is set for December 11th. In the battle for the grand-finals, they will face either Gambit or Team Vitality.

The quarterfinals of IEM Winter 2021 will be played on December 5th, after that teams will have their well-deserved break to prepare for the deciding matches. The champions of the event will be able to take home $100,000 as well as a 1,000 ESL Pro Tour Points.
