The Dota 2 team in Valve has revealed the release date for the next big gameplay update. Those long-awaited patch notes will be released in the beginning of the last DPC season of the 2021/2022 competitive year: on June 8th.

It also has been stated that the update will be yet another small one with a tag of 7.31d. Many fans expected Valve to drop a bigger update after many month of somewhat similar Dota 2 gameplay, but it seems that major changed will come prior to TI11 itself.

The International 20222 is planned to last longer than any other Dota 2 event recorded up till now. The matches will take place throughout the whole October month. The news comes from Valve's latest announcement, which reveals the details of the competition. Fans would be able to see watch top teams battling from October 8th till 30th.Β 

The main event will be divided into 4 stages. There will also be 30 participating teams which is the record for the tournament series. The Last Chance Qualifiers end on the second week of the month. From then on, 20 teams will compete to fit into a total of 16 slots. The event's final round will kick off at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
