Savvy Gaming Group acquired the rights for ESL and FACEIT. The group belongs to Saudi Arabian government's Public Investment fund.

ESL has been organizing CS:GO events as well as tournaments for Dota 2 and many other games internationally. The deal will get into its final stages in second quarter of 2022. It remains to be seen how the contract will impact the plans of ESL for the upcoming seasons.

Five hundred million dollars are spent for obtaining the London-based esports platform FACEIT. It is one of the most secure spaces for organizing tournaments in competitive titles like CSGO,  Dota 2, League of Legends, etc.

Apart from esports, the public investment fund also invested enormous amount of money to obtain Premier League club Newcastle United. The deal took place in December 2021.
