G2 Esports fans have been furious throughout the weekend when they learned that CEO Carlos "Ocelote" Rodrigues had been spending his time with another media face. The latter was Andrew Tate, popular for his "unethical" advices based on gender discrimination.
After hundreds of critical comments by the community, Ocelote made a tweet, stating that no one can have impact on his friendship.
After a couple of hours G2 Esports official page also released a statement, freezing the shares of Carlos at G2. He was put to inactivity from CEO's duties for as long as 8 weeks.
Tate has not spoken on the matter, though, he keeps on making his usual daily posts.
