Before the fresh season kicks off, competitive League of Legends regions finally tease the updates regarding seasonal format for 2023.

One of the firsts to announce its regulations was LEC who eventually let the teams compete in best-of-3 matches. Fans and teams are equally happy for the decision, as the demand for bo3s had become a point of criticism towards Riot.

The next announcement was from LCK, who had presented the regulations before the weekend. Seems like the double elimination format will be featured across all the splits throughout 2023. Earlier fans were bashing the organizer for caring more about Valorant in its earlier years than LoL, after more than a decade.
