Over a month after the conclusion of LoL Worlds 2022, sources have new clues of the next location of the championship. For the 2023 edition, League of Legends Worlds will be headed to South Korea. 

The news comes from an independent journalist, Brieuc "LEC WOOLOO" Seeger. Another reporter told that the final match of the series will take place in Seoul, potentially at the Gocheok Sky Dome baseball stadium. 

Worlds 2018 was the last time when South Korea welcomed fans, teams and experts to join the annual competition. That time Invictus and Fnatic were the only 2 remaining teams in the finals, playing at the Incheon Munhak Stadium. MSI 2022 was also held in South Korea this year, with all matches played in Busan.
