Since the start of the month Overwatch Community has noticed an update on patch notes of the game on Battle.net.This enabled teams to get prepared for taking part in the tournament set to kick off in May 2022.

Up to now, the teams had to use custom programs to train their skills for the tournament. Besides the promised 5v5 format, new heroes will arrive in Overwatch 2. They will bring more variety to the game, although at first players need more time to adapt to the new stuff.

Players hope the early build will not have game changing bugs, given the time that Blizzard used up to launch it within 2 weeks for pro teams. This was first reported to Dexerto. Moreover, the dates of OWL 2022 are known, as announced officially.
