Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas got benched by G2 Esports, his place on the starting roster of the Valorant division was taken by Wassim "keloqz" Cista. Keloqz already played under the banner of G2, but then was moved to the bench as well on the 23rd of December 2021. 

Since then the team played almost no official matches, but lost the qualifier for VCT 2022: Stage 1 Challengers to Team Vitality and Alliance. With the updated roster G2 will take part in the 2nd qualifier to get to the VCT this season.

Mixwell was the captain of the team, and is yet to be announced which of the players will take on his responsibilities within the club. Canellas joined G2 back in June 2020, and since then has been the leader of his team.
