Riot Games forced T1's Valorant roster to forfeit their game against TSM in a Valorant Champions Tour Open Qualifier which resulted in their elimination. The decision was made due to a violation of rules that was discovered when T1's coach David Denis accidentally send a message to his team in all chat.
The rules of VCT state that the players cannot communicate with their coaches during the technical or tactical pauses and are not allowed to get any help during the actual rounds. Apparently, T1 did not respect this and used their coach for the mid-game callouts, and one of those got to the wrong chat, revealing the whole scheme.
First, it was TSM players that pointed this out in Twitter. And only later on, the decision was brought by Riot Games publicly. It seems though, that the only punishment T1 received was their elimination from the qualifier. No other disciplinary measures were neccessary.
