NRG's Crit, professional Valorant player, did not actually take a PCR test, while he lied to the org and teammates about taking it. As a result, multiple employers might have been infected, as the new test shows that he is positive for COVID-19.

After the incident, the player admitted that he hid the truth about being not tested. It came only after the exposure of NRG's ethos. His apology followed:

I used 2 of the home covid tests 1 day before I left for Philly and also the day that I left and both came out to be negative so I believed that was enough but I was wrong all I can say is I’m sorry for the trouble I have caused everyone and anyone I might have hurt by being this irresponsible. I'm 19 years old but I still act like a child and I have to grow up and start thinking.
