ESL Pro League is back from August 31st to October 2, to feature 24 top-tier CSGO teams in the hunt for that $835,000 prize pool, as well as 5340 BLAST Premier points. Sixteenth season of the event will take place offline, but the venue is yet to be announced. On the other hand, there are already some teams that took their seats of participation. The list includes these partner teams:

  • Astralis;

  • BIG;

  • Complexity Gaming;

  • ENCE;

  • Evil Geniuses;

  • FaZe Clan;

  • G2 Esports;

  • Fnatic;

  • Furia Esports;

  • Heroic;

  • MOUZ;

  • NAVI;

  • NIP;

  • Vitality;

  • LIquid.

There has also been a conference stage that decided who else will join the list above, and the second one consists of MIBR, Endpoint, Eternal Life and Outsiders.

The format of matches is similar to that of the previous season: in the group stage teams will play in round-robin format, with all matches being best-of-3. In the playoffs, the format will be changed to single-elimination bracket, again with bo3s. The final match of the tournament will be played in a best-of-5 series.
