The 9th iteration of the Dota Summit will start on the 25th of July. The Summit will serve as the final practice area for some teams ahead of The International 2018.
The DOTA Summit is as always the tournament that gives viewers a more relaxed top-tier tournament where the personalities of casters and players shine through more, all of the games are played in a house with the teams being in different rooms and the casters in the living room.
The tournament will begin with a group stage which will be played in round-robin Best-of-Two matches, the top two teams will advance to the playoffs upper bracket and the bottom four will be seeded in the playoffs lower bracket.
Playoffs will be played in double-elimination Best-of-Three series.
Grand Finals is Best-of-Five.
