The LVP SuperLiga Orange has been recognized as one of the leagues that will replace the challenger series in the EU LCS as of the 2018 Season. What this means is that the team winning LVP Spring will be in contention to join the EU LCS next season.
The league is the most prestigious domestic league in Spain and features eight teams in a league which will be following the fundamental format of all of the Riot created and sanctioned leagues with a lengthy regular season that seeds into a playoffs bracket.
The leagues opening week will be played on Tenerife and will then continue to be played in Madrid.
The regular season will be played as a double round robin with best-of-two series.
