Recent insights from the CS:GO scene by the esports analyst Richard Lewis reveal that it was the Swedish org Ninjas in Pyjamas that was not interested in carrying on the contract with Nicolai "Dev1ce" Reedtz. Many suggested that it was the Danish superstar that insisted on leaving the org.

According to the analyst, Dev1ce already had nothing to do in the team, when the club brought in Ludwig "Brollan" Brolin and later Alexi "Alexib" Virolainen. And now, the results with the current lineup are more satisfying, than they would be, with the year-long inactivity of Dev1ce and temporary stand-ins.

Besides, NIP reportedly bought and sold Dev1ce with the same amount of money, having nothing to lose except for the salary spendings.

Dev1ce returned to the pro play with his ex-club Astralis. In a recent lower-tier tournament CCT Europe he managed to put up 1.66 rating, as per HLTV just on the first match. Sadly, the team was not able to deliver positive results from then on and was eliminated from it.
