The International 2022 is not far from us. The annual Dota 2 tournament will take place in the October 2022, but the closed qualifier dates are yet to be officially announced. However, it seems that we'll know more participants by September 12th, as it is the scheduled dates for the finals of the regional qualifiers. The news were leaked by Metaratings.com insider with the following idea:
Qualifiers for the main tournament of the year will take place a month before The International 11. Valve has already decided upon the dates of the closed qualifiers. In all of the regions they are expected to last from September 8 to 12. As of today,Β those are the latest confirmed dates scheduled for closed qualifiers.
No information has been shared by Valve officially on this. It is known that the participants list will be published at the end of PGL Arlington Major 2022, when teams will earn their respective points.
TI 11 will start on October 8th and end on October 30th in Singapore. The 20 teams will be in the race for the multi-million dollars prizepool. Most of the cash prize will be collected through Battle Pass sales.
