VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers Main Event concluded on March 27, with Fnatic, G2 Esports and FPX claiming their spots for Stage 1 Masters Rejkjavik.
The final match of the Challengers took place between FPX and G2 Esports. Across the best-of-5 series, G2 failed to travel past FPX after taking just one map.
FPX were competing without Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks that game. The player tested positive for COVID-19 and could not join his team on stage, Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka had to step in for him. However, this did not prevent FPX to become the champions of the league.
When it comes to the next round of things, Masters Rejkjavik was announced to kick-off April 15, with all the detalis presented on the official page.
