Ubisoft is expanding the world of Assassin’s Creed Mirage beyond the main game with a free interactive experience centered on AlUla. Released nearly three years after Mirage launched, Discovery Tour App: AlUla offers a short, educational adventure inspired by the Valley of Memory expansion and is available through web, iOS, and Android versions.

A New Way to Explore Mirage’s AlUla

AlUla was introduced as a playable region in Valley of Memory, drawing on the real location in Saudi Arabia. Ubisoft’s new release shifts the setting into a standalone interactive tour, giving players another way to learn about the area outside Assassin’s Creed Mirage itself.

The app combines historical information with game-inspired activities. Its exploration mode is structured as a mission-based journey that takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, making it a compact experience rather than a full-scale expansion. The web version runs directly in a browser, so players do not need to install anything before starting.

Roshan and Eagle Vision Return

The experience also brings back Roshan, one of Mirage’s important characters. She acts as a guide throughout the tour, providing instructions and helping players move through the interactive content in a role similar to her mentorship of Basim in the original game.

The project was officially unveiled on September 8 and is positioned as an early celebration of Valley of Memory, which reaches its first anniversary in November 2026.

The AlUla experience is part of a wider period of free offerings from Ubisoft. PC users can also claim and keep For Honor through Ubisoft Connect at no cost until September 28. The company’s 40th anniversary in 2026 has coincided with this more generous approach, although Ubisoft has not confirmed whether additional giveaways will follow.

For Assassin’s Creed fans, the AlUla app provides a low-commitment way to revisit ideas and locations from Mirage while adding historical context.
