Nikola "NiKo" Kovac finally has a trophy past 1000+ days. The competitive CS:GO pro had several seasons with ups and downs. Lately G2 seemed to be kind of cursed not to be able top win any important title in the world of top-tier CS. 

With the first and last big trophy in 2022, G2 star Niko lifted the BLAST Premier World Final 2022 cup, after G2 defeated team Liquid with the score of 2:0. However, many agree that the team had an actual final beforehand when beating FaZe.

Last time the Bosnian had succeeded on a BLAST stage at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season back in february 2020. With the victory in Abu Dhabi, the Samurai claim 500,000 USD prize cash, while Team Liquid will get just the half of it.
