Players will have until the same time on September 3 to add Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition and Breathedge to their libraries. The combined promotion is described as being worth $50, making it a substantial final offer after Caravan SandWitch left the rotation on August 20.
Breathedge Brings Survival Beyond Earth
Breathedge is a single-player survival game from UAE-based RedRuins Softworks. Set after a large-scale space disaster, it places players in first-person zero-gravity environments where they gather materials and build tools, equipment, vehicles, and upgrades. Exploration expands into new areas as players improve their base and transportation options. The 2021 release has previously appeared as an Epic Games Store giveaway, running there from April 27 through May 24, 2023. It was also offered to Steam users during the first half of August 2026.
Rival Stars Makes Its Epic PC Debut
Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition focuses on racing, horse breeding, and stable management. Developed by New Zealand studio PikPok, it is primarily a single-player experience but includes online multiplayer for up to eight players. Its multiplayer features include competitive races and cooperative free-roam activities in semi-open areas. The original game began as a mobile release in 2019, while the Desktop Edition arrived on PC and two generations of Xbox consoles in 2020. Later versions expanded to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 in April 2026. The Epic Games Store promotion will mark the PC edition’s debut on that storefront.
August’s Giveaway Schedule Is Nearly Complete
Epic began the month with Sol Cesto and OTXO, followed by Beacon Pines and We Were Here Together. Caravan SandWitch then became free on August 13 before being replaced by Cardpocalypse on August 20.
