Steam players will have a chance to claim Mail Mole at no cost on November 11, but the offer is not being run directly through Steam. Lenovo’s Legion Gaming Community is set to distribute Steam keys through Gamesplanet, making timing and account preparation important for anyone who wants the 2021 platformer before the available codes are gone.
What happened: Mail Mole is the next Legion giveaway
Lenovo Legion Gaming Community has scheduled Mail Mole as its next free Steam-key promotion for November 11. The event is expected to open at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET through the community’s Free Game Giveaway Event Page. Keys will be offered while supplies last, so the duration is uncertain: the allocation could disappear quickly or remain available longer depending on demand and stock. The promotion follows other Steam-key offers run through Legion’s partnership with Gamesplanet, including a Doom (2016) giveaway planned for October 28.
Why it matters: a well-received platformer with more than a cute look
Mail Mole is a colorful 3D platformer starring Molty, a delivery mole trying to rescue Carrotland. Its courses lean on speed, movement, and precision, sending players over steep terrain, bounce pads, hazards, massive rolling obstacles, and gaps with no room for mistakes. Molty can scale walls, use cannon routes, search for collectibles, and face mechanical competitors across areas such as Coconut Islands and Yeti Ridge. Steam’s user feedback was rated Very Positive when the source was checked, with 88% of 182 reviews marked positive. The free Xpress Deliveries expansion also adds eight speed-oriented stages, cosmetics, photo mode, Boss Rush, and extra speedrunning features.
What to watch next: the claim process has several steps
This is not a case of clicking an install button on the Steam store. Players will need a Legion Gaming Community account and an email-verified Twitch account. When the giveaway opens, the Gleam widget on the event page will be used to verify and connect the required accounts. A queue may be in place, and browser cookies must be enabled. After completing the event flow, users receive a voucher that must be redeemed on Gamesplanet while signed in. Gamesplanet then provides the Steam key. Anyone interested should be ready before the start time rather than waiting for the offer to surface in Steam’s own promotions.
Practical takeaways for players
- Bookmark the Legion Free Game Giveaway Event Page before November 11.
- Be ready at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, as keys are limited and the giveaway has no guaranteed end time.
- Confirm that your Twitch account is email-verified and linked to your Legion Gaming Community profile.
- Enable cookies and expect a possible queue during the claim window.
- Redeem the resulting voucher through Gamesplanet to receive the Steam key.

Third-party key drops are less convenient than a direct Steam promotion, but Mail Mole looks like a worthwhile target for platformer fans. Its strong user reception and built-in speedrunning appeal give the giveaway more value than a typical low-profile freebie—provided players navigate the account links before the key pool runs out.
