Palworld Card Game Reveals Legends Awaken Expansion

Palworld is continuing its rapid expansion beyond the survival game that made Pocketpair a major name in gaming. After the franchise moved into trading cards, the Palworld Official Card Game has announced Legends Awaken, its second full expansion. The set will add more than 100 cards, new versions of familiar Pals, and collectible alternate artwork when it arrives later in 2026.

Legends Awaken brings new Pals and collectible variants

Bushiroad introduced Legends Awaken during its English Conference Summer 2026. The expansion is scheduled for October 30, 2026, with Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese releases planned for the same day. Its main set will contain more than 100 cards, supported by parallel cards and alternate-art versions aimed at collectors seeking rarer designs.

Several recognizable characters and creatures are among the teased additions. Broncherry, Chillet Ignis, and Jetragon will receive cards, while another card will feature the antagonist Saya Kurosaki alongside Selyne. The preview gives the set a broad mix of Pal-focused cards and story-related characters rather than limiting the expansion to one part of Palworld’s cast.

The card game is building momentum after its first set

Legends Awaken follows Dawn of Palpagos, the first full expansion for the Palworld Official Card Game. The card game launched in July, shortly after Palworld’s Version 1.0 update arrived on July 10. That game update expanded the survival experience with new areas including Sunreach and the World Tree, more than 70 Pals, the Mutation mechanic, and changes to many Partner Skills.

Interest in the physical card game has also created strong demand among collectors. Boxes from its first set have reportedly appeared on eBay at prices well above MSRP, while some rare cards have reached unusually high values on the secondary market. A gold SSS Cattiva card was cited as selling for nearly $4,000. Pocketpair and Bushiroad have not officially addressed the reported scalping activity.

More products are already planned for the franchise

Bushiroad’s announcements extended beyond the main expansion. A Pal Sphere card-sleeve set will include exclusive promo cards featuring Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt. New Palworld Trial Decks are also planned for December, following the Red/Blue and Green/Purple decks released with Dawn of Palpagos.

The publisher additionally confirmed that a third expansion is in development, with an official release date of January 29, 2027. Together, these announcements suggest that the Palworld Official Card Game is being treated as an ongoing product line rather than a one-set adaptation.
