Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo's platform has become an increasingly important part of Atlus' RPG rollout. Persona's long road to Nintendo hardware

Persona 5 Royal's arrival on the original Nintendo Switch in 2022 marked a major change for the franchise. Atlus followed with Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden in 2023, while Persona 3 Reload is scheduled for Nintendo's newer hardware in 2025. Persona 4 Revival is a full remake

Persona 4 Revival is not simply another release of Persona 4 Golden. It is a ground-up remake of the original 2008 PlayStation 2 role-playing game, with rebuilt visuals and quality-of-life features introduced in later Persona titles. Atlus has also confirmed that the remake will retain the additional story and gameplay content associated with Persona 4 Golden. That positions Revival as a substantially reworked version of the classic rather than a basic port or visual refresh. The game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 18, 2027, followed by its Nintendo Switch 2 release on May 20, 2027.

Persona 6 gets a Switch 2 teaser

Atlus also used the Nintendo Direct presentation to briefly confirm Persona 6 for Switch 2. The company has not announced a release date, and it remains unclear whether Nintendo's version will launch alongside the editions planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The confirmation does, however, establish Nintendo's new console as part of the next mainline Persona game's platform plans.
