Free-to-try weekends remain one of the easiest ways for players to expand their library without spending, and Xbox is leaning into that again. From July 30 through August 2, Xbox owners can download three games for free—two with no subscription needed and one that does require Xbox Game Pass.
How to claim the free weekend games
Xbox owners can grab the offers directly from the Xbox Store. The process is straightforward: open the Xbox Store on console, head to the Subscriptions tab, then scroll down to the Free Play Days collection. From there, you can download the eligible titles before the promotion ends on August 2. The promotion also includes discounts for players who want to purchase and keep any of the games they try during the free window.
