A recent Xbox PC App update appears to include the artwork and unlock sound for the rumored Mythic Achievement, the platform’s potential answer to PlayStation’s Platinum Trophy. The discovery makes the feature look increasingly credible, but Xbox has not formally explained how Mythic Achievements will work or when they will arrive.

On September 23, Xbox-focused creator Klobrille reported that the latest Xbox PC App update had revealed more information about Mythic Achievements. According to the discovery, the feature is identified by that name and has its own symbol and audio cue. A 16-second video shared with the report shows the leaked logo alongside the sound that may play when the Achievement unlocks.
The material has not been accompanied by an official Xbox announcement, so the artwork and audio should still be treated as leaked details rather than a confirmed product reveal. Even so, the presence of dedicated visual and audio assets suggests the idea has progressed beyond a purely speculative fan request.
Who could benefit from the feature
Mythic Achievements are believed to reward players who unlock every other Achievement in a game. That would give Xbox users a single completion marker for finishing an entire list, similar in purpose to PlayStation’s Platinum Trophy. It also carried no Gamerscore, an unusual design that led many observers to connect it with the rumored Mythic system.
Further evidence came from Stallion83, who reportedly used the Xbox Insider program’s skip-ahead feature to find a new Mythic Achievements section in the Xbox Achievement menu. These findings point toward a possible launch around upcoming games, but they do not confirm whether Gears of War: E-Day will support the feature or whether older releases will receive it later.
Until Xbox provides a formal announcement, the safest approach is to view the leak as meaningful evidence rather than a final specification.
