After esports news portals shared rumours regarding the upcoming changes in G2 Esports CS:GO, the club's CEO and CS:GO coach themselves denied the legitimacy of the source. Esports media Blix.gg had posted an article on July 12th, reporting that G2 look to replace Aleksib and XTQZZZ.

Carlos "Ocelote" Rodriguez rushed to reply with one assertive word:

Remy "XTQZZZ" Quinoam also calmed fans down, sharing the following under Blix's tweet:

Mediocre results from the superstar team had already given concerns to the CEO, who might have been thinking of changes, but decided to keep silent on what is the plan for the future of the CS:GO roster. Recently G2 were eliminated from IEM Cologne 2022, not making to the playoffs of the event. This is when the roster-change rumors started to spread quickly.
