With LCS Spring Finals conclusion, the crown of the event goes to Evil Geniuses, who closed down their final series against 100 Thieves with a fast-paced aggression. EG take home $100,000 of the prize pool, while the runner-ups will be taking $50,000.
The road has been smooth for EG. First, they've lost to Liquid with 2:3 score. Then recovered against FlyQuest with a 3:1 win. Afterwards, in the next round Cloud 9 stood against EG but simply couldn't do anything and fleeted with a 0:3 defeat. Third round of the series was the revenge matchup against Liquid. EG were on the top of their form and knew how to close down Liquid this time. Again, 3:0 on the scoreboard and EG move forward.
The final day match was something unseen before. The match lasted just 1 hour, 18 minutes and 27 seconds, making it the quickest final in LCS history. EG join the other regional champions and will play at MSI in May 2022.
