Following the instant success of Arcane animated series, Riot Games have decided to obtain some of the shares from Fortiche Productions. The latter are the creators of the show as well as a number of cinematics for the League of Legends itself.

Fortiche has been an integral partner for a long time, but this agreement ensures we’ll be working closely for decades to come.

Fortiche will stay independent and will continue to work on it's projects with no intetference from Riot. However, Brian Wright, Riot's chief content officer and Brendan Mulligan, director of corporate development at Riot, have both joined Fortiche's board of directors. It seems that Riot are completely confident in the success of the second season of the series.

Earlier this week Arcane took all of its nine nominations at the Annie Awards. This includes award to the voice actress behind Jinx, Ella Purnell who got her prize for Outstanding Achievement for Voice Acting.
