With the introduction of the Star Guardian skin line, Riot Games recently changed the voiceover of Akali, making the version from the Star Guardian the default one in the PBE servers. This was shared by a reddit user, who also suggested to leave a feedback to Riot.

Players, of course, were hardly ever happy hearing about the unexpected change. Some even started complaining about how Riot seems not to care about the community at all, by adjusting stuff they simply do not need to. 

New Star Guardian skin line was introduced through trailer the day before, with some sophisticated and bright in-game cosmetics. The list includes skins for Kai’Sa, Akali, Sona, Taliyah, Rell and Ekko.
