One of the game developers of Valorant sat down with Red Bull Esports over the weekend to discuss some of the existing and upcoming content to Riot Games' shooter. He says that the next map, dropping early 2023, and, therefore, with the patch 6.0, will have a brad-new mechanic. 

The latter hasn't been tested in previous maps, as it has no connection to the teleport.

With his words, "It's going be like another map in the pool". This can be referred to the Split map, which has been in reworks for a long time. But if there is nothing fancy, fans might expect to see the escalating ropes reworked to perfection.
