Riot Games have been open to include more minorities in its esports tournaments. The intention is well fixed in the upcoming competitive year's budget, where they plan to have more of marginalized genders' leagues.
This not only refers to gender equality in esports, but also the acceptance of LGBTQ+ communities within the gaming world. That was obvious with the addition of a black LGBTQ representative K'Sante, a top lane champ for Riot's League of Legends.
In some countries, including the Russian Federation, the cinematic of the champ was still presented without hinting to his connection to the LGBTQ margins.
