Matthew "super" DeLisi, the former esports athlete of Overwatch discipline announces retirement from the pro scene. The orgs surely would want him to made the decision earlier, as the statement came just 2 months before the start of the new OWL season.

Super has played in San Francisco Shock since he joined them at 17. The team took OWL 2019 and OWL 2020 championship titles, with DeLisi being one of the most impactful players. He also led the US team to their Overwatch World Cup 2019 championship, and has been arguably the most well-known player of the scene.

Not only Super stood out with his play, but also was quite active media-wise, taking part in various TV projects and interviews. Overall, the player managed to earn up to $560,000 from different tournaments.
